With the rapid development of digital technology, the tourism industry is facing a new driving force, and the research on rural tourism enabled by digital technology is attracting more and more academic attention. In this paper, the literature in CNKI is searched and studied, and CiteSpace (6.2.R4) is used to analyze the status quo, hot spots and trends of the research on the digital transformation and up-grading of rural tourism in China. It is found that the integration of rural tourism and digital technology is a hot research topic, which provides theoretical basis and strategic guidance for promoting the high-quality development of rural tourism.
