The public library is the main body of national reading service,the key part of the public culture service system,and the important platform to carry out the culture and tourism integration policy,largely determines the quality of the public cultural services. By in-vestigating the present situation of culture and tourism integration in Chengde public libraries,drawing lessons from domestic experience,and analyzing advantages and disadvantages,this paper puts forward several countermeasures for the integrated development of Chengde public libraries and tourism,with a view to enhancing cultural self-confidence,improving cultural soft power,and promoting the great development and prosperity of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics in the integration of culture and tourism.
