From 2019 to 2023,the Ministry of Culture and Tourism,together with the National Development and Reform Commission,selected four batches of key villages for rural tourism in the country,11 villages in Chengdu were selected.The article first introduces the basic situation of these 11 national rural tourism key villages.Then,according to the resources and products developed by the 11 national key rural tourism villages,the development mode of the 11 villages is divided into five models:cultural and creative leading,red tourism,scenic area driving,folk culture and characteristic industry.Finally,four inspirations for the development of Sichuan rural tourism are put forward:distinctive characteristics,creating their own unique IP;close to the market,tourism products to bring forth the new;digital empowerment,digital marketing promotion is strong;and experience-driven,vigorously develop homestays.
