This paper,based on the RMP theory,systematically explores the development potential of mountain cultural wellness tourism inTengchong,Yunnan Province.Leveraging its abundant mountain natural resources,such as hot springs,forests,and volcanic land-scapes,as well as its unique ethnic minority cultures and traditional Chinese medicine practices,Tengchong possesses significant advantages for developing mountain cultural wellness tourism.The paper focuses on analyzing key products within the mountain environment,including hot spring therapy,forest wellness,traditional Chinese medicine treatments,and tea culture wellness.By utilizing resource differentiation and precise market positioning,Tengchong can create high-end,customized wellness tourism products.The paper suggests further integrating mountain sightseeing,cultural experiences,and wellness tourism,strengthening brand development,and actively expanding international markets to establish Tengchong as a renowned destination for mountain cultural wellness tourism both domestically and internationally.
