Clinical observation of TCM sequential therapy in the treatment of total sudden sensorineural hearing loss with qi-stagnation and blood-stasis
To study the effect of TCM sequential therapy on total deafness type sudden deafness with qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, from May 2023 to December 2023, 60 patients of such kind in Changde First Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were divided at random into pure western medicine group and TCM sequential therapy combined with pure western medicine group according to the random number method. After 10 days of treatment, the improvement of hearing, tinnitus, TCM syndrome score, coagulation function and hemorheology were observed. The total effective rate of the TCM sequential therapy combined with pure western medicine group was 83.33%, and the total effective rate of the pure western medicine group was 53.33%. The curative effect of the TCM sequential therapy combined with pure western medicine group was better than that of the pure western medicine group. The tinnitus score, TCM syndrome score, whole blood high shear rate(HPV), whole blood low shear rate(LBV)and plasma viscosity(PV) of the TCM sequential therapy combined with western medicine group were lower than those of the western medicine group. And the differences between the two groups were statistically valid (P<0.05). TCM sequential therapy combined with western medicine is superior to pure western medicine therapy in the treatment of total sudden sensorineural hearing loss with qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome. It can significantly improve the prognosis of hearing in patients with total deafness, and there is no significant increase in adverse reactions.
