Vibration and temperature test analysis of electric locomotive traction converter
As the core component of the electric locomotive, the vibration and temperature characteristics are very important to the stable operation of the traction converter.Through the vibration and temperature test of electric locomotive traction converter under the line operation conditions, the vibration characteristics are analyzed from the perspective of time domain and frequency domain, and the temperature characteristics are analyzed from the perspective of system level and component level. The results show that the cabinet foot vibration of the traction converter mainly comes from the high frequency vibration of the main transformer, and the main frequencies are 800 and 1 500 Hz.In the power module there is mainly low-frequency vibration caused by wheel rail action, with few high-frequency components. In the frequency range recommended in GB/T 21563-2018,the lateral vibration of the cooling fan exceeds the standard value. The temperature difference between the water-cooled radiator of the power module and the water inlet is about 5.5℃,and the temperature rise margin of the traction converter is large.
