Research on the Figurational Analysis Framework in the Figurational Sociology of Sport
The figurational sociology of sport as a community of knowledge has made great contributions to the international sociolo-gy of sport. The academic narrative of the sociology of sport as a research topic aims to draw on the introduction and translation of the sociology of sport to renew the academic tradition of the figurational sociology of sport. Elias has established a conceptual system and sociology ( sociology of sport) analytical framework centered on the"figuration", such as the sportization and the civilizing process, the game model and the established and the outsiders theory, as well as the involvement-detechment, which is sufficient to reflect the in-novative significance of the analytical framework of the figurational sociology of sport. Under this research paradigm, the potential for future application of the figurational sociology of sport is also manifested in the research topics of sport and health, sport and mobility, and sport and technology, bringing a certain amount of imagination to the figurational sociology of sport in China.
