Humanistic Interpretation of Traditional Tibetan Sports
Using the methods of literature review and logical analysis, and drawing on the knowledge of archaeology, this article analyzes the causal relationship between the physiological characteristics of Tibetans adapting to the low-oxygen environment and their sports from the humanistic perspective, and argues that the various thought materializations of the Tibetan people in the process of per-ceiving and adapting to the natural environment of the plateau have laid the material foundation for the emergence and development of traditional Tibetan sports culture, which not only accumulates all the cultural creations and civilization achievements of the Tibetan peo-ple, but also contains the cultural genes for the harmonious coexistence with the plateau natural environment towards the future sustain-able development. This study is of great practical significance in promoting the innovative development of traditional Tibetan sports in the context of Chinese national cultural identity.
