Efficient Collaborative Localization Algorithms for Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks
How to obtain the location information of nodes in mobile wireless sensor networks in an energy-efficient way is a hot research problem.Since sensor networks are generally battery-powered and difficult to obtain energy replenishment from the outside, how to a-chieve precise positioning of nodes with the lowest possible energy consumption is the focus of research.A virtual multiple-input multi-ple-output VMIMO technique for node positioning is proposed, which calculates the optimal number of transceiver nodes in terms of total energy consumption, positioning error and node movement speed, thus reducing the energy consumption in the positioning process. It is also combined with the time of arrival(TOA)algorithm to achieve efficient localization of mobile nodes. Finally, the experimental analy-sis of the performance of the nodes under different moving speeds shows that the VMIMO-based localization algorithm has significant ad-vantages in terms of energy consumption and is very robust in the case of node movement.
