Minimum Deployment Method for Wireless Sensor Network Base Stations in Transmission Line Inspection
Due to the usually long transmission lines, the deployment of wireless sensor network base stations is greatly affected by the signal coverage range, which reduces the inspection effect. Therefore,a method for minimizing the deployment of wireless sensor network base stations for transmission line inspection is proposed. To ensure maximum transmission line inspection coverage, the factors affecting maximum coverage and throughput in the deployment of wireless sensor network base stations are analyzed.Based on this analysis re-sult,the minimum number of base stations is taken as the deployment optimization objective to optimize the deployment of base stations in wireless sensor networks. The simulation results show that the proposed method has a maximum number of 12 base stations,a deploy-ment time of less than 9.3 seconds,a minimum lifecycle of 1 117 rounds, and a coverage rate of over 95%,demonstating the proposed method deploys base stations following the principle of minimization, and have high deployment efficiency, good uniformity of base station deployment, and high monitoring coverage.
