Multi-channel flexible strain sensing system with independent temperature compensation
A multi-channel flexible strain sensing system is designed to meet the demand for all-directional strain acquisition, such as finger bending and gesture recognition. In this system, four Wheatstone bridges with flexible strain gauges and temperature compensation gauges are prepared based on screen printing technology. The corresponding channels are selected by controlling the turn on/off of multiplexing switches. The strain signals are converted into voltage signals, which are amplified and filtered, and the strain information is read by a Bluetooth chip.Experiments show that the printed sensor has good response characteristics and repeatability for strain, and the initial output voltage of strain bridge remains unchanged in the temperature of 25~45℃,which has good temperature compensation characteristics. The flexible strain system has low cost and simple process, the number of multiplex switches and the number of printed flexible strain gauge are expanded, which can satisfy the needs of wearable electronics for large area distributed and multipoint acquisition.
