Resonant ring shaped traveling wave antenna design for multi-mode OAM
Aiming at the problem that current orbital angular momentum(OAM)antennas is difficult to work in multi-mode at the same frequency and promote the practical application of OAM in wireless communication,a resonant-ring-shaped traveling wave antenna based on a single-layer substrate is designed, fabricated and measured, and four feed probes are introduced to feed signals with different phase differences into the traveling wave antenna. After simulation analysis and actual measurement, the proposed antenna successfully resonates and vortex electromagnetic beams are generated carrying OAM modes with l =0,l =±1and l =-2 at 3 GHz,respectively. The antenna has a simple structure and can generate multiple modes of OAM at the same frequency, which can effectively increase the channel capacity of wireless communication and has certain theoretical significance and practical value.
