Microparticle identification and counting sensor based on microplanar coil
Aiming at the problem of sample pretreatment is required, unable to detect in real-time,or unable to accurately identify the size of microparticles, that conventional techniques for microparticles counting developed based on principle of optical or fluorescence sensing have, based on the principle of electromagnetic induction,a microparticle identification and counting sensor is proposed by using the microplanar coil, which can accurately identify and count microparticles of different materials and sizes in real-time without preprocessing. In the experiment, metal microspheres made of steel, copper and aluminum with the particle size range of 250~1000μm are selected for testing. The test results show that the developed sensor has accurate identification and counting ability, which is expected to provide a new technical solution for applications such as quantitative cell encapsulation, quantitative drug delivery, and industrial microparticle detection.
