Terahertz frequency tuning antenna based on graphene
Aiming at the problem that traditional tunable devices cannot operate in the terahertz band,a graphene-based terahertz frequency tuning antenna is designed by taking advantage of the controllable conductivity of graphene. Two bias voltage regulation methods are used for four groups of graphene patch to achieve the frequency tuning function of the antenna in the terahertz band, the frequency tuning span is 1.17 THz under the switching control mode and the frequency tuning range is 2.60~3.67 THz under the micro-regulation mode. The simulation results show that the antenna reflection coefficient of the two regulatory methods is less than-15 dB,and the-10 dB bandwidth is greater than 10%,and the radiation performance is excellent, indicating that graphene has great application potential in antenna design of terahertz and new material fields.
