Design of flexible triboelectric sensor based on kitchen waste
To improve the recycling rate of kitchen waste and solve the environmental problems it causes,a flexible triboelectric sensor based on kitchen waste is designed. The output voltage and current amplitude of the sensor gradually increase as the external pressure increase from 10 N to 50 N,with an output voltage amplitude of approximately 2.2 V under an external pressure of 50 N at a frequency of 1 Hz.The output voltage amplitude shows a linear relationship with the pressure within a range of 15~85 kPa.As the frequency of the external pressure changes, the output current increases while the output voltage amplitude remains unchanged. The results indicate the pressure sensing performance of this sensor is good. When applied to motion sensing,it can feedback output voltage signal of different waveforms corresponding to the bending of finger, elbow, and wrist joints, and the amplitude of the output voltage can be used to feedback the degree of bending of each joints.Additionally,it is capable of distinguishing between three types of motion:walking, race walking, and running. This sensor offers a novel approach to the treatment and reutilization of kitchen waste and shows promising application value in environmental protection and human motion state monitoring.
