Motion guidance for industrial robots through body movements
A new method of using body movements to guide the movement of industrial robots is proposed, body movements include gestures and limb movements, using data gloves to collect gesture information, and using inertial sensors to collect limb movement information.Firstly, static gestures are identified using template matching method and body movements are identified using the support vector machine(SVM)algorithm.Secondly, kinematic modeling of industrial robots is carried out.Mapping relationship between body movements and the type of movement of industrial robots is constructed. Finally,an experimental system based on body movements to guide the movement of industrial robots is built.Experimental results show that through limb movements, industrial robots can be easily and efficiently guided to move according to the operator's intentions, and the defined 14 limb commands can meet the needs of most industrial scenarios.
