Improved AODV routing protocol based on number and location information of neighboring nodes
Aiming at the problems of large delay, network congestion and low packet arrival rate of Ad Hoc on demand distance vector(AODV)in a network with high node density,an improved AODV-C protocol based on the number of neighbor nodes and node location information is proposed. When the number of neighbor nodes of the unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)node in the network is small, only nodes in the forward area are allowed to forward the data packet;when the number is large, the neighbor nodes in the forward area and far from the source node forward the data packet, and the number of forwarding nodes and forwarding area of the data packet are limited. The simulation results show that the improved routing protocol improves the routing stability and reliability compared with AODV and AODVE,and can better adapt to the network environment with high node density.
