Artificial electromagnetic metasurface structure design for glucose solution detection
An electromagnetic near-field focused artificial metasurface structure for glucose concentration detection is put forward.Focusing position of the electromagnetic wave near-field reflected by artificial metasurface has high sensitivity to the dielectric constant of the glucose,which can detect different concentrations of glucose solution.The size of structure is 400 mm × 400 mm × 1 mm,it consists of 20 × 20 heterogeneous artificial metasurface elements which has different electromegnetic wave reflection phase difference.In order to verify the feasibility of the design,experimental tests on glucose solutions with different concentration values are carried out.The result shows that variation of glucose concentration value will lead to variation of the relative dielectric constant of the solution,further has a significant impact on the focusing position.The detection sensitivity of variation of the relative dielectric constant of the solution is 0.027%.
