Triboelectric nanogenerator based on CNTs/Fe3O4 for human motion detection
A triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG)based on carbon nanotubes(CNTs)and iron oxide(Fe3O4)is proposed. The TENG uses the friction energy generated by human motion to convert into electrical energy,so as to realizes real-time monitoring of human motion.Firstly,Fe3O4 nanoparticles are dispersed uniformly on the surface of CNTs films, forming a composite material with excellent frictional properties. Then, wearable TENG with excellent property is prepared. In the experiment, the CNTs/Fe3O4 composite material is used as the friction electrode to drive the external load through the charge transfer generated by the friction. The experimental results show that the TENG has good output performance and stability, can effectively generate electric energy under different human motions, and has good repeatability and durability.Specifically, the manufactured TENG generates an open circuit voltage of 148 V through constant hand friction or tapping, with an operating frequency of 2.5 Hz and a contact pressure of 10 N.Therefore,TENG based on CNTs/Fe3O4 has broad application prospects, and can be used in human health monitoring, smart wearable devices and other fields.
