Application of biosynthesized metal nanoparticles in non-enzymatic glucose sensors
Nanotechnology is one of the most promising and advanced disciplines at present. The field involves the synthesis, characterization and application of different types of nanoparticles (NPs ). Compared with traditional physical and chemical methods, biosynthesis method has attracted wide attention because of its mild reaction conditions, simple operation and high efficiency. Bio-derived NPs are gradually used in the preparation and processing of nano-scale new materials because of their advantages such as biodegradability, high biocompatibility, easy modification, renewable and low toxicity. In this paper, the method, mechanism and case study of the synthesis of NPs using biological resources are mainly introduced. The application status of biosynthesized metal NPs in non-enzyme glucose sensor is discussed.
