阿尔茨海默病(Alzheimer's disease,AD)作为导致痴呆的主要原因之一,其早期诊断对于及时干预和减缓疾病进展至关重要.2018年美国国家衰老研究院-阿尔茨海默协会(National Institute of Aging and Alzheimer's Association,NIA-AA)提出了AD的ATN(amyloid/tau/neurodegeneration)诊断标准,获得了临床普遍认可并广泛使用.本文综述了正电子发射断层显像(positron emission tomography,PET)、磁共振成像(magnetic resonance imaging,MRI)以及正电子发射型磁共振成像系统(positron emission tomography-magnetic resonance imaging,PET/MR)在ATN诊断框架下的应用,并探讨多探针多模态PET/MR在AD诊断中的显著优势.以期为学者提供研究和参考的新思路,推动AD患者的PET/MR临床应用,为临床实践提供重要的影像依据.
Research progress in PET/MR for diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease within ATN framework
Alzheimer's disease (AD), a leading cause of dementia, emphasizes the critical importance of early diagnosis for timely intervention and disease progression mitigation. In 2018, the National Institute of Aging and Alzheimer's Association (NIA-AA) introduced the ATN (amyloid/tau/neurodegeneration) diagnostic criteria for AD, which has garnered extensive clinical acceptance and utilization. This article offers a comprehensive review of the applications of positron emission tomography (PET), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and integrated positron emission tomography-magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MR) in the ATN diagnostic framework, and explores the profound advantages of multi-probe, multi-modal PET/MR in diagnosis. The objective is to provide researchers with novel perspectives and references for further investigation, drive the clinical application of PET/MR for AD patients, and furnish clinicians with crucial imaging evidence to support their practice
