The"Mingguang Empire"was the initial experiment by Japanese imperialism to establish a puppet regime following the Mukden Incident,laying the groundwork for the emergence of puppet Manchukuo. This article,based on historical materials from modern Chinese and Japanese newspapers and periodicals,traces the process from the planning to the cancellation of the"Mingguang Empire". By comparing and analyzing the propaganda orientations of Chinese and Japanese public opinions,the article further elucidates the transition and evolution from the "Ming-guang Empire"to Manchukuo,revealing the auxiliary activities of Japanese imperialism beyond military aggression.
