Application of multi-source data digital technology in the protection of grotto temples
Grotto temples are concentrated embodiment of China's splendid ancient civilization,so it is of great significance to strengthen the protection and utilization of grotto temples. This paper takes the digital protection of the Shihongsi Grotto as an example, and proposes multi-sourced data acquisition by using oblique aerial photography,close-range photogrammetry, and 3D laser scanning technique to integrate the advantages of various techniques to 3D digitalize the grotto temple.Firstly,3D scene digitization,1:500 topographic map production,multi-angle image and video production have been carried out based on oblique aerial photography.Secondly,3D laser scanning technology and close range photography have been used to obtain the internal spatial structure and high-definition texture information of the grotto tem-ple,and 3D internal models, facade orthophoto images and facade outline drawing of the grotto temple are produced. This paper realize the high-quality digital interior and exterior scenes of the grotto temple were realized, and will also provide a feasible solution and important reference for the protection of simi-lar grotto temples.
