One time detection method for zero error and graduation error in Invar Leveling Staffs
Invar Leveling Staff is the carrier of the national length standard system,it is widely used in geodetic surveying,high-precision leveling,deformation monitoring,digital city,and many other fields in China.To address such problems existed nowadays in both domestic and foreign leveling staffs that they are heavily relying on laser interferometers,as well as the detection of graduation error,the differ-ence between the mean value of the meter interval length and the nominal value,and the difference be-tween the zero error of a staff that needs to be measured several times and processed in a complicated manner,a set of zero error detection accessories for the staff was developed and installed on the LSS-2 leveling staff system.The graduation error,the difference between the mean value of the meter interval length and the nominal value,and the difference between the zero error of a staff can be obtained by one scanning detection after the least-squares linear regression calculation,it greatly facilitates the level-ing staff detection.The experimental results show that compared with the traditional three-observation sets method,the difference between the zero error is 1.5 μm,which can meet the requirements of the standard staff verification specification.The efficiency is greatly improved,which has practical engi-neering application values.
