Experiment research on DSM and DOM production based on millimeter wave InSAR
This paper proposes the method of millimeter wave Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar(InSAR)to address the difficulties in obtaining basic surveying and mapping data in areas with com-plex terrain, cloudy and foggy all year round,as well as some difficult Gobi Desert. This method uses synthetic aperture radar technology to obtain high resolution in the range direction by transmitting broadband signals, and the relative motion between the radar and the target forms high resolution in the azimuth direction, thereby to achieve 2D high-resolution imaging of the original target echo in the range azimuth direction. The experimental results show that the root mean square error of the digital or-thophoto map(DOM)and digital surface model(DSM)produced by airborne millimeter wave InSAR are 1.482 m and 1.405 m respectively, meeting the accuracy requirements of 1∶5 000 scale DOM and DSM in hilly areas.
