Digital empowerment and smart education have given birth to new-form teaching based on rich media resources,and digital mapping technology is transitioning from information-based surveying and mapping to intelligent-based.The article outlines hardware and software configuration,data acquisition,and processing modes of digital mapping system,then gives its virtual simulation implementation process.Then a new-form teaching mode of theory-virtual-practice,online-offline,and in-out of class integration was designed based on online course clusters,virtual simulation teaching and skills competitions need.Finally,professional literacy and skill indices for Geomatics were defined to explore new standards for cultivating innovative professionals under intelligent surveying and mapping.
