The accessibility of the main schools and the matching and housing supply and demand in the main city within the third ring roads in Xi'an City is estimated in this paper from the perspective of supply and demand and based on the open network data from Baidu Map API.The spatial accessibility of schools is measured by using the shortest time distance method, the supply and demand matching degree between schools accessibility and point of interest(POI)data of the residential areas are estimated by using the factor superposition method. The results showed that the accessibility of schools in the study area was generally higher, with overall accessibility in primary schools better than secondary schools. From the perspective of street, the spatial accessibility of residential areas and schools is gradually declining from the first ring roads to the second and the third ring roads, the accessibility within the third ring roads is better;while, from the perspective of the ring roads, the accessibility within the second ring roads is much better, the walking time is shorter, and the accessibility to the nearest schools is greater than 97%,and the second and third ring roads are greater than 58%,and the vast majority of high demand areas have relatively high accessibility of schools.
