Application of satellite remote sensing in the monitoring and evaluation system of land spatial planning implementation:A case study of Longchuan County,Guangdong Province
To explore the technical methods of utilizing satellite remote sensing technology in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of land spatial planning,Longchuan County of Heyuan City in Guang-dong Province is used as a pilot area in this paper to investigate the monitoring index system and technical methods of satellite remote sensing for supervising the implementation of land spatial planning by using the advantages and characteristics of satellite remote sensing technology and combining it with GIS spatial ana-lyzing methods,so to provide better support for urban health assessments and the supervision of land spatial planning. The results show that satellite remote sensing technology has such advantages as efficiency,com-prehensiveness,high precision, and quick response in monitoring the implementation of land spatial plan-ning,it can provide new ideas and methods for the management of land spatial planning implementation. The findings from this paper have significant potentials to be widely promoted and used in the supervision and management of land spatial planning implementation in other cities and counties in China.
