Automatic extraction of house surface elevation based on densely matched point cloud
Densely matched point clouds based on oblique photogrammetric technology can get rich coor-dinate information,and the extraction of house surface elevation can be realized by extracting the eleva-tion of the point clouds.An automatic and accurate method is proposed in this paper to extract the large number of complex multiple intersecting house surface vectors.This paper firstly determines whether the bounding boxes of the house surface vectors are intersected or not,and merges the intersecting house surface,it then introduces the quadtree index to extract the point cloud corresponding to the boundary of the courtyard,and finally automatically extracts the elevation of the lowest point cloud and assigns it to the house surface vector.It is proved in practice that the method proposed in this paper can efficiently,accurately,and automaticlly extract the house surface elevation,so it has some application values.
