Decoherence phenomenon caused by mining subsidence is the main question in mining subsidence monitoring.This paper taking Binchang mine area in Shaanxi as a study region,analyzed the applicability and the maximum detectable deformation gradient about the InSAR technique used in mining deformation monitoring.The research results showed that:because of longer wavelength characteristics,PALSAR data has relatively larger monitoring gradient,which would help overcome decoherence phenomenon caused by the deformation beyond maximum monitoring gradient.
