A review of UAVSAR application in geological hazard monitoring
This article first introduces the system design, working principle, data products, etc. of unmanned aerial vehicle synthetic aperture radar (UAVSAR ) differential interferometry for deformation monitoring, and then outlines the development and application status, existing problems, and development trends of UAVSAR systems at home and abroad. The article focuses on discussing the application of UAVSAR in typical surface deformation monitoring such as volcanoes, faults, glaciers, permafrost, landslides, and ground subsidence. Its high spatial resolution and strong penetration are excellent supplements to spaceborne SAR data, highlighting the great application prospects of UAVSAR systems, and providing reference for the research of domestic airborne radar systems and their application in geological hazard monitoring.
