Research progress on GNSS positioning for Android smartphone
The aim of this paper is to provide a concise overview of recent advancements in smartphone GNSS localization,aiming to furnish valuable insights for enhancing smartphone GNSS localization performance.To achieve this objective,the paper initially delineates the methodologies for acquiring pseudorange,carrier phase,and Doppler observation data for smartphones.Subsequent sections analyze the quality and characteristics of smartphone GNSS observation data,elucidating their ramifications on positioning accuracy.Furthermore,the paper presents a comprehensive survey of recent research endeavors in smartphone localization algorithms,encompassing single-point localization,relative localization,ambiguity resolution,and fusion localization.Ultimately,the discourse concludes with a discussion on the challenges and opportunities confronting the field,emphasizing the notable progress achieved thus far alongside persisting challenges related to data quality,algorithmic precision,and real-time capabilities.It underscores the imperative for future research to prioritize enhancements in data quality,algorithm refinement,and exploration of sensor fusion methodologies to augment the efficacy and applicability of smartphone GNSS positioning.
