Taking a 3500-ton cable-laying ship as an example,this paper introduces the composition of the ship's electric propulsion system,the power limitation strategy and hardware design of the electric propulsion system,gives the flow chart of each process,analyzes the implementation process,and verifies the feasibility and safety of this strategy through simulation tests and experiments.
