Research and application of inorganic silicate gel sealer for thermal recovery of thick oil
In the process of thermal recovery of thick oil reservoir is prone to underground steam fugitive and surface vapor fugitive, which seriously affects the production capacity of the mine and causes surface pollution at the same time.In view of the benefits and environmental impact of these problems, the research of high temperature fugitive sealing agent for thermal recovery of thick oil is carried out.By using water glass and urea as the main cross-linking agent and compounding with surfactant glycerol triacetate,a new type of high-temperature resistant sealer was developed. The optimal formulation of the sealer was determined by orthogonal test as 60%water glass+4%urea+0.2%glycerol triacetate+water.Infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy analysis revealed that water glass in the system formed monosilicic acid through crosslinking for a period of time, and then condensed to form linear polysilicic acid. The entanglement of silicon acid molecules results in a network structure, which makes it more stable and has better temperature resistance. The experimental results of the performance evaluation of the sand-filled pipe in the laboratory showed that the sealing rate was 98.8%,the breakthrough pressure gradient was 1.4 MPa/m and the residual resistance coefficient was 83.32 when the injection volume of the blocking agent was 0.2 PV and the waiting time was 5 d,and the sealing rate was still stable above 94%after the high temperature steam flushing at 21 PV 260 ℃,After the field test, the daily oil production of Well F-109 increased from 0.9 d to 5.5 d,and the water content decreased from 89%to 50%,with a cumulative oil increase of 1 122.4 t in 244d of construction.steam leakage no longer occurred on the surface of well area F,and the 14 wells affected by surface leakage resumed normal steam injection and throughput production, with a cumulative oil increase of 15 713.6 t and an average single well daily steam injection volume of 100 m3 and steam injection pressure of 5.5 MPa.The comprehensive experimental results show that the sealant system has good high-temperature selective plugging properties, which provides theoretical guidance and technical support for the effective management of high-temperature steam fouling in thick oil hot recovery.
