Whether it is architectural elements analysis or flow units analysis, the identification of boundary is the key point.Permeability ratio of adjacent points is the ratio of the maximum and minimum permeability values of logging interpretation of two adjacent data points, which is very sensitive to changes in reservoir pore structure and properties caused by changes in sedimentation and diagenesis. This paper introduces a new parameter, permeability ratio of adjacent points, which can effectively make up for the deficiency of well log in identifying low-level boundary, improve the identification accuracy of boundary, clarify the existence and accurate location of level 3 and level 5 architectural elements boundary, and push the research of architectural elements to a deeper level.Permeability ratio of adjacent points can also be used to divide flow units, quickly identify flow unit interfaces, calculate the boundary value of flow units, and clarify the geological meaning of various flow units.
