Determining the drilled net pay thickness of horizontal well by using the data of vertical well, pilot well and horizontal well:Take C Block of L Oilfield as an example
At present, there is no good solution to determine the net pay thickness of the reservoir in the drilling position of horizontal wells. This paper discusses how to determine the drilling net pay thickness of horizontal wells by using the data of vertical wells, pilot wells and horizontal wells.Firstly,a relatively perfect net pay thickness standard is comprehensively established by combining the data of vertical wells, pilot wells and horizontal wells in the block, and then the oil layers of vertical wells, pilot wells and horizontal wells are comprehensively identified according to the oil test, production test, net pay thickness standard, well and mud logging data, formation correlation and the structural position of the wells.Secondly, the net pay thickness of a single well and the average net gross ratio of the target zone are determined comprehensively from the data of vertical wells and pilot wells. For the horizontal well whose well trajectory along the structural line, the vertical thickness of the drilling oil interval is calculated according to the interpretation of the oil interval, well deviation and azimuth, and the vertical thickness is multiplied by the average net gross ratio of the target interval to calculate the net pay thickness of the horizontal well. Finally, vertical wells, pilot wells and the vertical net pay thickness of the horizontal well with well trajectory approximately along the structural line, which can participate in the drawing of net pay thickness contour map of the reserve calculation unit, and it is a relatively good reference for the unit net pay thickness determination of the area with poor vertical well control.
