A Simplified Modeling Approach for a Hydro-wind-solar Integrated Novel Power System Based on Hybrid Flexible DC Transmission
Based on the project practice of newly constructed regional power system of hydro-wind-solar multi-energy complementary integration with hybrid flexible direct current(DC)transmission in China, this paper presents a simplified regionalization model for the three core components of the system. These components include the hydroelectric unit, the wind-solar integration system, and the hybrid flexible DC combining conventional DC and flexible DC.In addition,we compare the response model with the equivalent model proposed in this paper for experiment validation. The results demonstrate that the equivalent model proposed in this paper can work dynamically in the case of a system breakdown.Due to its easy scalability and wide applicability, the proposed method can serve as an experimental paradigm for ultra-large-scale power systems with a high proportion of new energy.
