A Political Economic Research on the Digital Financialization of Capital Accumulation in Modern World System
Accumulation of capital and financialization are the axes around which the modern world system operates.Digital finan-cialization represents the latest form of capital accumulation,shifting from serving industrial capital to controlling it within national economic activities.With the development of digital credit and digital currency,the expansion of digital financial capital far exceeds the real output capacity of the economy,leading to frequent economic crises due to structural contradictions between the virtual and real economies.On one hand,the digital financialization of capital accumulation has brought about irrational prosperity in contempo-rary capitalism.On the other hand,it has exacerbated the polarization of social wealth distribution in Western countries and acceler-ated the historical process of self-abandonment of the modem world system.Chinese-style modernization must integrate Marxist fi-nancial theory with the specific realities of contemporary China,adhere to the fundamental purpose of financial services for the real economy,and explore new models for the high-quality development of finance in China.
