Application of Industrial Robots,Correction of Resource Misallocation and Sustainable Economic Growth
Industrial robots,as an important carrier of the application of artificial intelligence technology, are of great significance for stimulating new momentum for economic growth, accelerating the formation of new production forces, pursuing a new industrializa-tion path, and building a modem industrial system. This paper constructs a multi-task general equilibrium model that includes indus-trial robots, resource misallocation, and economic growth, and analyzes theoretically and empirically the impact of the application of industrial robots on sustained economic growth, its transmission mechanisms, and spatial spillover effects.Furthermore,it verifies the findings using panel data from Chinese cities from 2011 to 2019.The study indicates that industrial robots significantly reduce economic growth losses, have a reconfiguration effect on capital, and an industry integration effect, extending the application bound-aries of robots.Additionally, robots exert substitution effects on labor allocation and employment creation effects, thereby correcting the resource misallocation phenomenon in the factor market, improving resource allocation efficiency, and further reducing economic growth losses.Heterogeneity analysis shows that industrial robots exhibit stronger economic growth potential in less developed re-gions.From a spatial perspective, the impact of industrial robots on economic growth losses exhibits geographic diffusion,R&D spill-over,human capital spillover, and innovation diffusion effects. This paper's findings provide empirical evidence and policy implica-tions for further utilizing artificial intelligence technology to achieve economic growth, stimulate the economic growth potential of ro-bot applications, correct resource misallocation in the factor market, and promote sustained economic growth.
