How to achieve energy saving in the evolution process of urban function division has become a major practical problem for China to develop new quality productivity and achieve the goal of"double carbon".Based on the data of China's high-tech enterpris-es from 2005 to 2020,according to the direction of enterprise management,urban function division is identified,and urban function-al division index is constructed to verify the impact of urban function division on energy consumption.The results show that:(1)The functional of urban group and the consumption of energy present an inverted U-shape relationship,that is,with the improvement of urban functional level,energy consumption presents the characteristics of first increase and then decrease,and shows certain region-al heterogeneity.(2)At present,the productive functions of most of the three major urban agglomerations are in the stage of energy conservation,while the service function has not reached the stage of energy conservation.(3)The service function is concentrated in the central city,and the production function is diffused from the central city to the secondary city.This spatial differentiation trend is conducive to the overall energy saving.This paper provides theoretical basis and empirical evidence for the practice of spatial man-agement and energy governance of urban agglomerations.
