Government Data Opening,Regional Factor Cultivation and Enterprise Digital Technology Innovation
Using the data of China's A-share listed companies from 2009 to 2022,this paper constructs A multi-period difference-difference model to investigate how government data opening affects enterprises'digital technology innovation.Empirical findings:Government data opening will significantly promote enterprise digital technology innovation,this conclusion is still valid after a se-ries of robustness tests.Further analysis shows that the establishment of government data platform can accelerate the cultivation of lo-cal factors by improving the level of marketization,innovation activity and informatization,and thus promote the digital technology in-novation of enterprises.From the perspective of innovation driving force,the promotion effect of government data opening on enter-prise digital technology innovation is more significant in the sample of enterprises with high data element utilization level and large degree of financing constraint.From the perspective of enterprise life cycle,the promotion effect of government data opening on enter-prise digital technology innovation is more significant in non-high-tech enterprises,samples with high industry concentration,and enterprises in the growth and maturity stages.The research conclusion of this paper has certain reference significance for the govern-ment to improve the quality of public resources data and enterprises to improve the level of digital technology innovation.
