The Impact of Development Zone Policy on the High-Quality Development of Enterprises——Evidence from China's Industrial Enterprises
As a typical location-oriented policy,the development zone policy plays an important role in the high-quality development of enterprises.Based on the data of China's industrial enterprises,the paper examines the impact of development zone policies on the high-quality development of enterprises.It is found that the development zone policy can significantly promote the high-quality development of en-terprises;Moreover,the effect is more pronounced in coastal and inland areas.Further research shows that the market size has a significant regulatory effect,the larger the domestic market size and the foreign market size,the stronger an effect the development zone policy has on the high-quality development of enterprises.The above research results point out that the development zone policy is of great significance to promote the high-quality development of enterprises driven by the large market size.However,due to the influence of spatial heterogeneity,it is also necessary to continue to further promote the all-round o-pening policy and stimulate the upgrading of domestic consumption to expand the market scale.
