In this paper, we carried out a comparative experiment of nine new introduced seedling-edible Chinese cabbage cultivars, by taking the local main cultivar Zaoshu No.5 as control cultivar. The results showed that, the cultivar Shuangnai possessed the best comprehensive characters and was the best cultivar for summer planting in Yixing area. The Qinmenghuangrou had good quality and could be planted on a trial basis. The control cultivar Zaoshu No.5 had better comprehensive characters, and it could still be the main seedling-edible Chinese cabbage cultivar in Yixing area.
