Research on the High-quality Economic Development of Ethnic Areas in Northern Guangdong under the Background of Counterpart Assistance in Guangdong Province
The policy of counterpart assistance in Guangdong Province provides a good exogenous development force for the economic and social development and even the realization of the goal of common prosperity of the eth-nic areas in northern Guangdong.Through the empirical analysis of the economic development of the ethnic areas in northern Guangdong on the income gap between urban and rural residents,it is found that the economic develop-ment of the ethnic areas in northern Guangdong has a significant negative impact on the income gap between urban and rural residents,that is,the economic development of the ethnic areas in northern Guangdong has narrowed the income gap between urban and rural residents.However,there is still a big gap between the overall development of the ethnic minority areas in northern Guangdong and the developed areas in Guangdong Province.The fundamental reason is that it lacks endogenous development momentum.Therefore,it is proposed to provide endogenous develop-ment impetus for the development of ethnic minority areas in northern Guangdong by optimizing the path of building core competitiveness with resource advantages,so as to achieve high-quality economic development in ethnic mi-nority areas in northern Guangdong.
