On the Exploration and Development of Beiting Historical and Cultural Resources to Strengthen the Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation
The ruins of Beiting Old City and its cultural relics are the physical testimony of the central govern-ment's effective governance of the Western regions.The North Court is a stage for the exchange and integration of various ethnic groups.The history of multi-culture and multi-religion coexistence in Beiting is the epitome of the di-versified and integrated Chinese culture.Therefore,it is necessary to give full play to its role and take"educating the present through history and promoting cultural and plastic tourism"as the main line to innovate the expression of cultural relics and activate the utilization of cultural relic resources.We should optimize the means of communica-tion and form a joint effort to publicize Beiting,promote the transformation of research results and create fine cul-tural products and increase the excavation of Beiting cultural relics and promote the study of Beiting culture.It is al-so necessary to give full play to the political function of the base,build consensus through training and education,deepen the integration of culture and tourism,benefit the people's livelihood and gather people's hearts,and revi-talize the historical and cultural resources of Beiting,form a new situation of integrating culture,history,education and tourism,and assisting industry and development,so as to make the consciousness of building a strong commu-nity of the Chinese nation tangible and effective.
