Research on the National Identity of Kazakh-themed Films in Xinjiang
The national identity in Xinjiang Kazakh-themed films is manifested in three aspects:the construc-tion of the sense of community for the Chinese nation,national system identity and multi-cultural identity. The scenes of ethnic unity,mutual assistance and love shown in the film can enhance the sense of community for the Chi-nese nation,the publicity of national policies in different times reflects the institutional identity,and the exchange and integration of various cultures highlight the multicultural identity from the perspective of the community. In the pluralistic and integrated pattern of Chinese ethnic groups,56 ethnic groups are the basic level and the Chinese na-tion is the top level. The construction of national identity in the Kazakh-themed films of Xinjiang reflects the efforts to integrate into the Chinese National Community.
