Study on the Performance of Steel Slag Lime Stabilized Soil Used in Road Base
In order to study the road performance of steel slag and lime comprehensively stabilized soil, this article conducted indoor compaction tests, unconfined compressive strength tests, water seepage tests and Dry shrinkage test. The test results show that:when the lime content remains unchanged,as the steel slag content increases, the maximum dry density of the steel slag lime stabilized soil increases and the optimal water content decreases;when the steel slag content remains unchanged,as the lime content increases As the amount of steel slag increases, the maximum dry density decreases and the optimal moisture content increases;when the steel slag content is 40%to 60%and the lime content does not exceed 8%,as the lime content increases, the unconfined compression resistance The strength shows an increasing trend, and the impermeability and dry shrinkage properties are significantly im-proved.However,when the lime content exceeds 8%,the unconfined compressive strength shows a downward trend, and the impermeability and dry shrinkage properties are not significantly improved. It is recommended that lime The dosage should not exceed 8%;when the lime dosage is constant,as the steel slag dosage increases, the un-confined compressive strength growth trend gradually slows down.Taking into account the economic and strength design requirements,it is recommended to reasonably select the steel slag dosage.
