Research on the Contents Development of Public English Textbooks for Vocational Colleges Guided by New Curriculum Standards
In order to meet the needs of the development of vocational education,a questionnaire survey was conduc-ted to collect students'views on teaching materials.Based on this,this paper elaborates on the shortcomings of public English textbooks in terms of teaching contents,and proposes ways to construct the contents of public Eng-lish textbooks for vocational colleges from four aspects:integrating more Chinese excellent culture elements,adding contents on workplace or career;designing English learning strategy modules,and providing self-assessment check-lists.
