Synthesis and Performance of ZS Mannich Base Inhibitor
A new-type of ZS thiazole corrosion inhibitor was synthesized for solving the problems of acid solution corroding the groud pipelines and shaft wall during the acidification process of oil field. The inhibition performance of ZS mannich base inhibitor on N80 steel immersed in 15% hydrochloric acid solution was studied by means of mass loss method and electrochemical tests. The static weight-loss method showed that when the dosage of inhibitor was 1.0%,the corrosion rate of N80 steel in 15% HC1 solution was 0.412 9 g/(m2 · h),much higher than national standard.Electrochemical test results exhibited that the ZS mannich base belonged to mainly anodic-controlling composite corrosion inhibitor and the adsorption process of ZS corrosion inhibitor on N80 steel was subject to Langmiur adsorption isotherm, which expressed that the inhibitor formed a monolayer adsorption on N80 steel.Furthermore, the simulation results of molecular dynamics showed that ZS molecules could be adsorbed steady on the steel surface and prevent the metal surface from water and corrosive medium in the liquid.
