Investigations on Hydrogen-absorption Kinetics of Ti-V Alloys
The hydrogen-absorption cures of three Ti-V alloys,Ti0.76 V0.24,Ti0.51 V0.49,and Ti0.25 V0.75 ,are obtained. The linearization of these curves yields the rate equation by which the aparent kinetics parameters are measured. The kinetic process of hydride and its difference with that of gas-solid reacytion kinetics are described. Factors which influence hydrogen-absorption kinetics of Ti-V alloy are analyzed. Inducing the experimental reacted fraction reeals the aplication range of the rate equation.
